Little McKay Creek is a high energy country/rock band that loves to put on a great show. They have remarkable original material as well as hits from country and rock stations. Lately they have picked up songs from Texas and Oklahoma that crowds have fallen in love with. They do not show up to only make music, they show up to entertain.

The band consists of Scott Wilson, lead singer and rhythm guitar, Jerad Mitchell, drums, Nathane Fuller, bass guitar, and Josh Smith ,lead guitar and backup vocals. When these four get together they put out an amazing sound that is original; fast, slow, cover song, or original, they make the music their own.

In 2002 they began playing in local bars in Athena and Pendleton, OR. Word quickly spread about this tremendous band and they started filling their schedule with private parties, night clubs, and rodeos. Crowds enjoy their high energy entertainment and great music. They now travel to Lewiston, ID, Boise, ID, Portland, OR, Eugene, OR, and Hermiston, OR, as well as many clubs in between.

The band enjoys performing for charity events. They have worked with the Relay For Life for two years helping raise money for cancer research. Many other benefit events have also been grateful to the band’s participation in raising money for charity projects. The band enjoys performing for functions that help others.

One of the bigger venues for Little McKay Creek is the Pendleton Round Up and Happy Canyon Show. You can see them perform in the Happy Canyon Arena every night of the Pendleton Round Up in September. On Saturday night close to 3,000 people cram into the arena to enjoy the music and dance. They also entertain at Chief Joseph Days, held in Joseph, OR on the last weekend in July. Other shows include the Eugene Rodeo, Helix Rodeo, and the Elgin Stampede, just to name a few.

The band’s frequent shows consist of The Pheasant in Hermiston, OR, 2 Doors Down in Lewiston, ID, and the Country Side in Springfield, OR. Every where they play they are always asked to return for future events.

Two years ago Brad Paisley came to the Pendleton Round Up to perform. Little McKay Creek was asked to open up for him. They performed in front of 5,000 people and the show went excellent as if they had done it a million times before. In April they had the opportunity of meeting the Gourds and opening up for them. In August the band has been asked to open up for Emerson Drive at the Umatilla Co. Fair.

The band is becoming more popular with every show. They are fun to listen to and entertaining to watch.

Album Released

Now the fans can enjoy Little McKay Creek when they're off the stage. They have completed their first album titled LMC - Wasn’t All For Nothing.
